This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through tipscopywriting.com. Because our services involve professional time and expertise, refunds are available under specific conditions depending on where in the project lifecycle a cancellation occurs.
Our goal is to deliver copy you are satisfied with through the revision process. We encourage clients to engage fully with revision rounds before requesting a refund, as most concerns that arise after first draft can be addressed through the included revision process.
If you cancel your order before returning the completed brief intake form, you are eligible for a full refund minus a $25.00 processing fee. To cancel at this stage, email hello@tipscopywriting.com with your order reference. Refunds are processed within 5 business days to the original Stripe payment method.
If you cancel after submitting the completed brief but before active work on the first draft has begun, you are eligible for a 75% refund. The remaining 25% covers brief review, research, and project preparation time.
Once active writing has started on the first draft, the refund structure is as follows:
If you believe the delivered copy does not meet the standards described by this service or materially fails to address the brief as submitted, contact us at hello@tipscopywriting.com within 7 days of first draft delivery. We will review the copy and the brief together and determine the appropriate next step, which may include additional revision rounds, partial credit, or in exceptional cases a partial refund.
Quality disputes must be specific and tied to the brief. "I do not like the style" without reference to the brief does not constitute a quality failure. "The copy targets the wrong audience" when the brief clearly specified that audience is a valid quality concern that we will address.
Strategy sessions (hourly consultation) that were scheduled and attended are non-refundable. Sessions cancelled with more than 12 hours notice are eligible for a full credit applicable to rescheduling within 60 days. Sessions cancelled with less than 12 hours notice are non-refundable.
Add-ons that have been delivered or worked on (competitor audit, brand voice workshop, etc.) are non-refundable once delivered. Express delivery charges are non-refundable once work has begun under the expedited timeline.
If no completed brief is received within 14 days of the intake form being sent, we will send a follow-up. If no response is received within 7 additional days (21 days total from order), the order may be cancelled. In this case, a refund of 50% of the original payment minus the $25.00 processing fee is available.
Email hello@tipscopywriting.com with your order reference number, the name used at checkout, and a brief description of the reason for the refund request. We acknowledge all refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. Refunds are returned to the original Stripe payment method only.
